Italian Green Beans

by | Dec 30, 2015 | Recipes |

It was Labor Day, and we had been out shopping all afternoon in our favorite health food stores, drooling over foods I couldn’t have.  I hadn’t had lunch, and my nutritional reserves were in the negative numbers.  We were in a rush to make dinner, tired of the same old vegetables the same old way, and that’s how this recipe came about.  I incorporated our favorite flavors, cooked together until the beans were just tender and bright green.  The end result was a great accompaniment to Chicken Piccata. ~ Kris

Pseudo Saltines
