Food Shopping List To Stock Your Cupboards
For your convenience, we have made a list of the flours we reach for most often. As you figure out what works for you and what doesn’t, you’ll also learn how to save money on your purchases. For example, we buy vegetable glycerine by the gallon through the internet, which is more cost effective than buying at our local health food store.
Check your local oriental market for anything on this list that they may carry. You’ll find white rice flour there but probably not brown rice flour. Cornstarch and tapioca flour are fairly easy to locate as well, but arrowroot starch will most likely need to be purchased from a local health food store. Take notes on where you find products until shopping in this new way becomes second nature to you.
Be sure to read the section on “Storage Containers That Fit Nicely In Your Cupboard” under “Equipment In The Well Stocked Kitchen” for more helpful information.
